The Board operates the multiple Listing Service (MLS®) system, and once your listing has been uploaded the system, a notification is posted on a hot sheet as a new listing for 5,500+ REALTORS® to view. The MLS® system will send out an automatic notification to all prospective buyers whose criteria match the specifications of your home. We will be able to gather information to track how many prospective buyers’ criteria have matched your property.
In addition to the MLS®, your listing will be available for viewing on janeneandsarah. com as well as the RE/MAX Realty Professionals website (calgaryrealestatepros. com). These sites are frequently viewed by prospective buyers and will increase the online exposure of your property. We will update you regularly via email with the information, feedback and statistics that we’ve gathered that will help to better market and promote your property during the listing period. Information gathered includes the number of people who received the listing through the MLS®, the number of people who opened and viewed the listing, the number of showings that occurred for the week, any feedback from those showings and any sales or new listings that are deemed comparable.
